Ms. Alibhai holds a BSc Economics from the University of Nottingham U.K. and MSc Real Estate Economics & Finance from the London School of Economics. She has been actively involved in setting up new companies in Kenya and in Southern Africa.
She is a Director in various companies which include general insurance, micro lending, real estate, just to name a few. In her leisure time, she enjoys reading and commodity trading

Mireille UMWALI is a regional Project Management Consultant, an arbitrator and is also a Regulator and also as a non-executive Director in an investment holding company with a diversified portfolio in mining, energy, research and development, health and agriculture sector. Previously, Mireille served in different positions including being a Chief Operations Officer, Chief Finance Officer and Managing Director of Ultimate Concepts Ltd, the company owning Kigali Convention Center and Radisson Blu Hotel, one of the leading conventions in Africa.
She also served as the Resident Director of Prime Holdings Ltd from 2011 to 2017, a company operating in tourism sector. Mireille has as well a long experience in project management where she served as the World Bank Funded Project (Urban Infrastructure City Management Project - UICMP) Coordinator in Rwanda from 2006 to 2011. Holding a Master’s degree in Project Management, Mireille is also a certified project manager and a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI). Mireille has more than 15 years of experience in infrastructure and social projects where she has served both in public and private sector.

Herbert, a highly experienced tax lawyer and advocate of courts of judicature of Rwanda, is a founding partner at the tax and finance focused law firm, TaxSensePartners. Over the last 20 years of post qualification experience, he has consulted for nearly all the major players in Rwanda’s economy in addition to the majority of the inbound investors in all areas of tax law including tax planning, tax structuring, tax compliance and reporting, international tax, tax dispute resolution and tax advocacy.
In the late 1990s and 2000, He was a key member of the highly successful team that introduced VAT in Rwanda. He was until December 2014, the head of the global accounting and consulting firm, Ernst & Young’s tax practice in Rwanda. He has previously chaired the Rwanda tax appeals commission on a number of occassions appointed by the Government of Rwanda to settle major tax disputes between the Rwanda Revenue Authority and large taxpayers. He previously chaired the audit and governance committee of the board of Horizon Group and currently sits on the boards of Doyelcy Capital Partners, New Century Development and MAU (Rwanda) Insurance Limited.

Nikesh conducts business in many African countries and across a number of sectors including telecoms, aviation, technology, agri business, etc. His experience ranges from large corporations to medium and small enterprises, as well as start ups.

Skills & experience:
- Started his career with the American bank JPMorgan in Paris in 2006;
- Joined Feber Associates (now part of MUA) in 2009 as the Manager. He now oversees group strategy, with extensive involvement in the African subsidiaries, strategic marketing and digitalisation and also supervises all the group’s investment and asset management activities

Skills & experience:
- Worked in the internal audit department of Aviva Europe as audit senior manager in the financial management and actuarial audit department, conducting internal audit reviews in actuarial processes across Aviva’s European subsidiaries;
- Involved in the implementation of Solvency II EU Directive within the Aviva Group;
- Joined MUA in January 2012 as head of internal audit and was appointed CEO in 2015.

- After gaining experience in Europe as a Senior Analyst, he spearheaded transformation projects at Banque Populaire du Rwanda as Chief Operating Officer.
- He was CEO of RSwitch, Rwanda's national payments switch.
- Then became CEO of Atlas Mara’s Commercial Bank in Rwanda, following the merger between BPR and BRD.
- He has extensive boardroom experience in hospitality, energy, insurance, ICT, real estate, leisure industry and export agriculture. Combined with two decades of business executive experience in business start-up, banking, insurance, as well as turnaround, merges & acquisition and expansion experience in Europe and Africa.
- Joined MUA in 2021 as Managing Director of MUA Rwanda.

- In August 2012, he joined Phoenix of Rwanda as Commercial Director up to November 2016,
- Appointed Claims Manager for Phoenix of Rwanda (now MUA Insurance) in December 2016.
